The bosses at Mighty Good Coffee, a 4 store chain and wholesaler, in Ann Arbor, MI are about to find out they have a union with the IWW.

6th Annual Community Party to Celebrate Sundays in the Park




We invite everyone to come and celebrate with us. If you wish to make a donation, that would be lovely. 

We will have a dinner prepared by The Wobbly Kitchen ( Detroit). And great entertainment again. Julie BeutelCarl Henry and Tony Berci will start the evening, and the Corktown Popes will follow.

Two notes about parking: 

1) Only the fenced lot behind the League and the row along the east side of the building are GL property (free). The big lot east of the League is privately owned, and he is now charging to park. 

2) Parking zones have recently been created in Corktown for street parking. Observe parking fee

Organizer Training 101: Service Industry Edition

The Ypsilanti Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) is hosting Organizer Training 101: How to Build the Committee.
This is a training for those interested in learning more about Solidarity Unionism and how to effectively organize in your workplace, with your fellow workers, around your collective demands -- and get them met through Direct Action!

It is a two day training with hours as follows:
Saturday, November 17th 9am-5pm
Sunday, November 18th 10am-5pm

Location:
Eastern Michigan University

Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days. Housing and Childcare are also being organized for those that need it.
The registration fee is $20 and can be paid in person, at the training, with cash or debit/credit card.
