Hello, everyone. Maryanne Dunmire here. I am posting the event a little early, because we have a lot of figuring out to do. Most of you may knw by now that Jim Rehberg had heart surgery on Saturday(1st); he is recovering, but will not be able to participate on Sunday. The CP support team is scrambling to bring this together.
I presume that the IBEW Local 58 - Detroit folks will bring the chicken as usual.
Maryanne will make a big pan of baked beans.
I don't know who brings the hotdogs & buns, but if someone knows, can you confirm that they’ll be there on the 9th.
Also, who brings the tossed salad? Who can confirm that?
I will make a big pan of coleslaw.
No grilled cheese this week only.
I will buy the plates & sporks & napkins (we’ll always use them eventually.)
Al Benchich & Barbara Ingalls are co-ordinating making batches of chili or jambalaya, so contact either of them if you'd like to help.
WHAT WE NEED MOST:
Beverages, bottles of iced tea, water, and juice boxes.
If you can help with any of these things, please post in comments. And as always, we can use the baked goods and treats that many folks bring. Please post what you're planning to bring.
Thank you all, so much, for your help and support through this difficult time. I'm sure that Jim will be grateful that we are continuing with his work.
